Fuel that eats your margin
A traditional skiff can burn several times more fuel to cover the same distance.
Ekranoplano is an ultralight personal ground-effect watercraft, designed and manufactured in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. The compressed air between the craft and the surface generates partial lift, reduces drag and increases energy efficiency — powered by a 225 cc engine.
Heavy boats, high-consumption engines, costly maintenance. For the fisherman, the tour operator or anyone who lives off the water, every liter of fuel weighs on the wallet.
A traditional skiff can burn several times more fuel to cover the same distance.
Engines of hundreds of horsepower, heavy hulls and maintenance few can sustain.
Efficient gear comes from abroad, in dollars, with no nearby parts or service.
The Ekranoplano harnesses the ground effect: the compressed air between the craft and the surface generates partial lift, reduces aerodynamic drag and increases energy efficiency.
The result is an ultralight personal platform, with a hybrid composite structure, that reaches 40 km/h and delivers an approximate 3-hour cruising range — powered by a 225 cc · 31.5 HP 4-cylinder engine.
The same physical principle pelicans use when flying close to the water is harnessed by the Ekranoplano to move with less drag and greater efficiency.
As it moves forward, air is trapped between the underside of the craft and the water, forming a pressurized cushion.
That air cushion partially lifts the craft, which stops "plowing" the water and starts skimming it.
With less friction, the same thrust goes much further: more speed and range with far less fuel.
40 km/h and an approximate 3-hour cruising range. A 225cc · 31.5 HP engine delivers it with efficient consumption.
The Ekranoplano uses a hybrid composite structure: Foam, fiberglass, carbon fiber, Kevlar and epoxy resin. Each material works where it adds the most, optimizing the strength-to-weight ratio and increasing structural efficiency.
Provides volume, flotation and aerodynamic geometry at minimal weight.
Protects the surface and provides general strength.
Reinforces high structural-load zones.
Adds extra resistance in the most structurally demanding zones.
Integrates the composite materials and improves the overall rigidity.
A hybrid composite structure and a multihull that turns physics into efficiency.
No fine print. These are the Ekranoplano's real numbers.
Engine: 225 cc · 31.5 HP, 4 cylinders with electronic ignition and mufflers, gasoline-powered. Fuel: 12 L tank for an approximate 3-hour cruising range; regular gasoline pre-mixed with 2T oil at a 30:1 ratio. Construction: Foam, fiberglass and carbon fiber, forming a highly resistant exoskeleton. Unsinkable: the Foam core keeps it buoyant — it won't sink even in a collision. Technology: ground effect (Wing-In-Ground Effect). Range and consumption are approximate. Results may vary depending on operating conditions, load, propeller used and environment.
It's not just aesthetics. Every surface is designed to trap air, cut the water and make the most of every drop of fuel.

The EKRANOPLANO™ harnesses ground effect, an aerodynamic phenomenon that occurs when a lifting surface travels very close to the water.
Air is partially compressed between the vehicle and the surface, generating additional lift that reduces drag and improves energy efficiency.
The result is a smooth, stable and efficient gliding sensation over the water, with lower energy consumption than many conventional watercraft.
An EKRANOPLANO™ was conceived with a different philosophy.
While a jet ski is mainly oriented toward speed and aggressive riding, an EKRANOPLANO™ aims to offer:
For many people it represents a more relaxed and versatile experience than a traditional jet ski.
Yes.
Thanks to ground effect, the EKRANOPLANO™ significantly reduces drag by traveling very close to the water, allowing lower fuel consumption to cover similar distances.
Compared to a jet ski, which requires more power to stay on plane, the EKRANOPLANO™ can offer better energy efficiency, especially on steady runs at moderate speeds.
This translates into greater range, lower fuel costs and a more efficient experience overall.
